Short version: we collect only what our extensions need to work, we never sell your personal data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are
This Privacy Policy explains how NextApps AI ("NextApps AI", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects information when you visit nextappsai.com (the "Website") or use any browser extension, add-on or related service we publish (together, the "Extensions" and, with the Website, the "Services").
Some Extensions may have an additional, product-specific privacy notice. If so, that notice applies together with this Policy and prevails for that Extension in case of conflict.
2. Information we collect
We follow a data-minimization principle: we only collect what is necessary to provide and improve a feature.
Information you provide
- Contact details such as your name and email address when you contact us, join a waitlist or create an account.
- Account and billing information if an Extension offers a paid plan. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
- Content you submit to an Extension, such as prompts, text you ask an AI feature to process, or feedback.
Information processed by Extensions
- Page content. When you actively use a feature (for example "summarize this page"), the Extension may read the content of the current tab in order to perform that action.
- Settings and preferences, usually stored locally in your browser using browser storage.
- Technical data such as Extension version, browser type, language and anonymous error reports, used to keep the Extension working.
- Usage analytics in aggregated or pseudonymous form (for example, which features are used), where enabled.
Information collected on the Website
When you visit the Website, our hosting provider may automatically log standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and pages visited. We may use privacy-friendly analytics to understand overall traffic.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive data such as health information, financial account credentials or precise location through our Extensions.
3. How we use information
- To provide, operate and maintain the Services and the features you request;
- To process AI requests you initiate and return results to you;
- To manage accounts, subscriptions and payments;
- To respond to support requests and communicate with you about the Services;
- To monitor performance, fix bugs and improve our products;
- To detect, prevent and address fraud, abuse or security issues;
- To comply with legal obligations.
4. Chrome Web Store & Limited Use
The use of information received from Google APIs and browser extension platforms will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular:
- We use user data only to provide or improve the single purpose and user-facing features of each Extension;
- We do not sell user data to third parties;
- We do not use or transfer user data for personalized advertising;
- We do not use or transfer user data to determine creditworthiness or for lending purposes;
- Humans do not read your data unless you give explicit consent, it is necessary for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or the data is aggregated and anonymized.
5. How we share information
We share information only in the following cases:
- Service providers that help us run the Services (for example hosting, analytics, email delivery, payment processing), bound by confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- AI model providers. When you use an AI feature, the content you submit may be sent to a third-party AI provider solely to generate a response. We select providers that do not use API data to train their models by default.
- Legal reasons, if required by law or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users, NextApps AI or others.
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Data retention
We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy. Data stored locally by an Extension remains on your device until you clear it or uninstall the Extension. Support emails are typically retained for up to 24 months. Account data is deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period after account deletion, unless we must keep it for legal reasons.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), access controls and minimal-permission design. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work hard to protect your data.
8. Your rights & choices
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your information;
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Receive your data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent.

9. International transfers
Our service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your information.
10. Children's privacy
Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or under 16 where required by local law). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.
11. Cookies
The Website may use a small number of essential cookies or similar technologies needed for it to function, and privacy-friendly analytics. Our Extensions do not use cookies to track you across websites.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, for material changes, provide additional notice (for example in the Extension or on the Website).
