Terms of Use

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of the Muse AI Assistant: Code & Chat Helper browser extension and its related services ("Muse"), published by NextApps AI. By installing or using Muse you agree to these Terms and to the Muse Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Muse.

2. The service

Muse is an AI assistant in your browser's side panel. It can answer questions, help with code, work with the page you choose to share, read text from screenshots you capture, create images from your descriptions and transcribe your voice. Features may change as we improve the product.

3. Plans, subscriptions and billing

Muse offers a free plan with a daily limit on AI requests and a paid plan, Muse Pro, with unlimited requests (subject to fair use: automated or abusive traffic may be rate-limited). Current limits are shown in Settings and reset every day at 00:00 UTC. We may adjust limits to keep the service reliable and fair.

Plans and prices. Muse Pro is offered as a weekly (US$5.99), monthly (US$10.99) or yearly (US$34.99) subscription. The price shown in the extension and at checkout is the price you pay and includes applicable taxes; checkout may show it in your local currency.

Free trial. The weekly plan starts with a 2-day free trial. A payment method is needed to start it. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, the weekly price is charged automatically and then every week. We may limit free trials to one per customer.

Merchant of record. Payments are processed by Dodo Payments, which sells Muse Pro to you as merchant of record. Your purchase is also subject to Dodo Payments' terms, and receipts and card statements show Dodo Payments.

Automatic renewal and cancellation. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel, switch plans or update your card at any time in Settings → Manage subscription (the secure Dodo Payments customer portal) or from the link in your receipt email. After you cancel, Pro stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Uninstalling the extension or using “Delete all my data” does not cancel your subscription.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Pro may be paused until the payment method is updated. Muse shows a reminder with a link to update your card.

Refunds. If something went wrong with a charge, write to romanvlasovdev@gmail.com — we review refund requests individually. Nothing in these Terms limits refund or withdrawal rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

Other browsers. A subscription is linked to the browser where you bought it. You can use it in up to 3 browsers with “Restore purchase” by entering a one-time code sent to the email you used at checkout. Subscriptions are personal; sharing them with other people is not allowed.

Price changes. We may change prices for future billing periods. We will tell you in advance, and you can cancel before the new price applies.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Muse to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights or process content you are not allowed to share;
• create malware, spam, or content that harasses, threatens or exploits anyone;
• attempt to bypass limits, reverse-engineer the service, overload it or access it with automated scripts;
• violate the usage policies of our AI providers (OpenRouter and the model providers it uses).

We may suspend access for anyone who misuses the service.

5. AI output

Answers are generated by AI and can be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. Review results — especially code, facts and anything with legal, medical, financial or safety impact — before relying on them. You are responsible for how you use the output. Do not share sensitive personal data, passwords or confidential information you are not allowed to share.

6. Your content

You keep the rights to what you send and to the answers Muse generates for you, to the extent the law allows. You give us permission to process your content only to provide the service, as described in the Privacy Policy.

7. License

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Muse. The extension, its design and brand remain the property of NextApps AI.

8. Disclaimer

Muse is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, NextApps AI is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of Muse. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.

10. Termination

You can stop using Muse at any time by uninstalling it. Uninstalling does not cancel a Muse Pro subscription — cancel it in Settings → Manage subscription if you no longer need it. Use "Delete all my data" in Settings first if you want your anonymous server record removed. We may stop offering Muse or any feature, with notice where reasonably possible.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date above shows the latest version; continued use after changes means you accept them.
